Day 4
Class lists - As you begin thinking about your placements of students for 21-22, please try to categorize them in three groups:
- Non-negotiables (likely spec. ed, ELL)
- Middle group - fragile academically and showing tricky behaviors
- Good-To-Go-Group - will do well in any classroom
Sample transition sheet for bringing attention to some specific parts that are helpful for us to have a visual of student needs. Graying the boxes would be helpful.~
Staffing changes -
Trisha Vande Voort will be joining the EQ team next year in a 2nd grade classroom. Our 1st grade team will be down to 5 classrooms. We will miss Trisha and wish her all the best!
Ali Michie will be transitioning from her role as a Special Education teacher to AM 4K and PM Behavior Support Teacher. We envision this new role to be a behavior coaching/supportive role for staff and Youth Advocates.
Lisa Lapin has resigned from her PBIS coaching role. Sarah Velicer will remain our Internal PBIS Coach. Sarah and I will be working on a plan for the potential replacement, should we continue to have that be a split role.
RuthAnn will be leaving the classroom after this year. We wish her well on her next journey!
Congratulations, Juli Resch! Thank you for your dedication to the district for so many years. Enjoy reading through her thoughtful Letter of Retirement.
May 27th - Last day planning
- 4K will be doing a virtual story time, a scavenger hunt, a visit to a 5K classroom and creating a Kindergarten King/Queen crown. Here is the approximate times for class visits (4K staff may have worked through this a bit with these teachers as well...just a quick visit is the desired goal):

May 28th - Last day planning (given the forecast for the week, I'm just planning an indoor celebration)
