"Kindergarten -Teaching Virtually" Facebook Page - I follow this page on Facebook and came across this site that I wanted to share (most of you my have seen this already).  Amazing options for you to post to your SeeSaw/Google Classrooms for additional resources for students to access.  Here is what I did to access it and I also linked one as a pdf on my site for you to see too:

Crosswalk Video - This is an additional resource we have used during safety week.  Please build into your week as you are able.
Recess - There are times when students need to come back into the building for the bathroom or emergency Health Office needs.  EAs have been provided with extra masks to provide students should the student not be able to locate their own mask quickly, or if they happen to be entering an entrance further away from their assigned hallway.

Lisa Lapin - Throughout the year, Lisa will be completing her practicum hours for her Principal license.  Do not be surprised if you see her taking on some administrative work, facilitating more meetings, attending IEPs and other parent meetings, covering for me when she can, etc.  We wish her all the best in completing this course work.

Safety Drills - Please keep students in masks.  Masks will not need to be worn for 5K and 1st grade field trips to relocation areas.

i-Ready - Lisa, Carol H., Michelle and I will be available during the testing times this week.

Lounge - In an effort to reduce risk in the lounge, please keep your distance.  I have removed a number of chairs to allow for only one adult at a table.  Thank for understanding.

i-Ready Schedule - Please follow this schedule.
  • This is a power point that you can use in addition to or instead of the video linked in the spreadsheet. It has slides explaining the testing and motivating the students.
  • Just breathe through this...first time for 5K so there may be some bumps, but it will all be ok!  :)

~Lisa S., Michelle, Susan, Carol H. for taking on the i-ready assessment schedule.
~Janet for all the extra tech support efforts!
~Jess D., Jennifer K. and Ellen C. for doing a lot of subbing for us!
~Brooke W. for finding her long term sub and being super prepared for him (Mr. Zornow).
~EAs, Bob and Luke for all the table washing during our lunch process.
~Kristin and Lisa S. for the additional time supporting during lunch and monitoring hallways.

~Sept. 28 - BOE Mtg.
