Read Across America Week - Thank you, Janet, for putting together a plan for Read Across America Week. Here is a snapshot of what to expect.

Virtual Field Trips - Enjoy the 'virtual' trips to the crayon, Lego, donut and toilet paper factories. Choose one or all of them to view with your class throughout the day on March 1st (draft is linked above). Thank you for working on goals within your classroom each month!

Recess Zones - We will be holding off on the switch to no recess zones until likely March 8th or15th. Kayla and I are setting some time aside this week to work through this plan for transitioning students and communication plans for parents.

Summer School Referrals - Please review the email from Erin Kape regarding all SS remedial/specialized option. We will go through your rosters and determining who to refer (this could change as we close out the year...there will be time to make adjustments if needed). I will assist with answering any questions you may have.

Virtual Book Fair - Our book fair will continue to be completely on-line, as in the fall. The PAC would like to create an on-line wish list for parents to purchase books for the classrooms. This list will be in a signup genius for parents to choose a book and then go to the Scholastic website to purchase the book(s). Please do not purchase from this link as it is a live Fair, but would not be put to Tanner’s account. The actual link for parents and staff will come at a later date. Please choose 10 books/titles you would like me to put on your signup for parents. Send Jean an email with the titles for your wish list.

ACCESS Testing - Lori has worked hard on the ACCESS testing schedule. She will, or has already, shared this with any of the impacted staff. Her testing schedule begins the week of Feb. 22. Thank you for your patience and flexibility throughout this important process.
