Nicole Claffey - Nicole will be working with us three days a week next year. She has an opportunity to work within the school system her kiddos are attending. Cindy Ruedinger will be joining our team for the other two days. You may see Cindy in the building this week. Please join me in congratulating Nicole on her new journey (we are lucky to still keep her with us!!) and join me in welcoming Cindy!
Grading Window - It's open! Please let me know if you are having an troubles. Our admin. team is looking to provide families with a tutorial on how to access report cards online vs. sending them in the mail. This is a POTENTIAL plan right now. More to come on these details.
Protective Behavior Meetings - Kristin has shared a draft schedule for these meetings with 5K and 1st grade to occur the week of May 10 and May 17. Please review and let her know if the draft will work.
ZONES Survey - Kristin also sent out a ZONES google survey. Please take a quick minute to provide your feedback. This is important for our future planning.
Games to teach self-regulation - check out this video for some fun ideas to help with regulating emotions and behaviors.
Summer School EAs - We are still looking for EAs to support some of our summer school classes. The hours would be 7:45-12:15. Please connect with me, or Erin Kape, if you are interested.
1st Grade Virtual Spring Celebration - We will record our 1st graders Spring Celebration on May 21. These recordings will be shared with families when they are ready. I'm excited for this first ever 1st grade performance!! Thank you, Mrs. Lapin, for preparing the students for this special event.
Field Day - The results are in! While Field Day may be a bit of planning and reliant on the weather, it is a fun filled day for all. I want to thank all of you for expressing the desire to still have Field Day, as there was so much we couldn't do this year, it is great to have something we CAN do! Enjoy this day with the students. More details to come from Mr. Guell and Mrs. Wells.

WE DID IT!!! Happy May everyone. I know the year has been daunting on a lot of levels. I appreciate your willingness to stick with me through it all. We will talk about these last two years for years and years to come. I am lucky to have had all of you with me on this difficult, emotional, mind-boggling, yet rewarding journey.
